Tumble Dryer balls - any good?

I have just seen some JML tumble dryer balls in Woolies - £9.99 they are supposd to cut down on drying time, fluff and make the clothes soft. Has anyone got them and are they any good?

I got some new ones off e-bay last week and have to say I am a convert.

Not too sure about the claim for them to save up to 25% drying time...may about 10 in some cases. However there is less fluff.

And best of all I have not needed to iron a single item that went in with them. So that is a power saving in its self, as well as time and effort on my part.

I ordered some of the balls off ebay - they came on Thursday. I have used them twice and really pleased. Definately less static, less fluff, many less creases and reduced drying time. Thanks for the recommendation VM

we got some from lakeland and i must admit i was a bit sceptical, but they are great, fluffy clothes, quicker drying time and you get to play hunt the ball at the end of each load - what more could you want?!

I have some from Lakeland and they're good. i think they really do help with softness, no idea about time. They make a cracking foot massager when rolled underfoot too!
