someone please please tell me what the differences are!! does anyone have one or the other and tell me what they are like in terms of:
weight, compactness when folded, ease to push/manoeuver and ability to get through doorways....

i'm getting very overwhelmed in this business of choosing a twin buggy. many many thanks

No idea about the cosatto, but friend has just bought a twin techno (special offer in Boots £160) and it fits easily through our stupid narrow dog-leg hallway and internal doors (not especially wide 1930s ones), and seems easy to push - she reckons it's easier than her M&Papas single.

When I tried DS in the maclaren twin, it was very narrow but it means the seats are too. My DS was 14 months when I tried him in it and he is quite a big boy, but he couldnt sit back properlly the seat was so narrow and that was just with a tshirt on, let alone his winter coat.

Know someone who has one though and she loves it. Her children are quite petite so it suits her fine.

As someone who is quite tall (6ft) I found that when I tried to walk with it, the wheel at the back in the middle got in the way and I kept stepping on it. Also found the handles a bit low but again if you are smaller then that wont be a prob.

I think I am going to opt for a tandem as all the side by side ones seem huge to me and yet not big enough for my DS. Def a personal thing though as I know alot of people hate tandems.

thanks for your advice girls. DD2 is petite for her age and it would be fine for the newborn. i'm also small myself. i have thought about the phil & ted but really dont like the idea that in 2 x toddler mode, neither of the seats recline. for some reason i think this is really bad for a sleeping baby. but then having said that, most babies sleep that way from 9 mths since they are in forward-facing car seats.

am i being silly to want seats that can recline for when baby is sleeping, even if they only sleep for an hour or so???

Def not silly. It really p*sses me off the lack of features on double buggies/prams.

I really want one which is tandem and has rear facing seats but you dont seem to be able to get them in this country.

Sick of searching the internet/baby shops looking for what I want, knowing that I will just end up with something I dont really want.

we should design our own dragonhart

so when is yr baby due??

i personally do not like tandums. i definite know how you feel about buggies. i've resigned myself to the maclaren techno. although i do find it heavy.

Due beg Jan.

Yes I have resigned myself to the Graco Stadium Duo but I wish I could have one where I can look into my new babies eyes properly. Do like the First Wheels twin one but just dont want a side by side and it is really expensive!
