I'm looking for a doll's house for my 4-year-old dd for Christmas ...

Has anybody come across any nice ones? I like the ELC one but dd doesn't go for pink. She likes the look of one called 'Lilac House' which we've seen in the Mothercare catalogue. Our budget is about £100.

Any suggestions?

TIA

Actually I noticed that warning on the Sue Ryder furniture and already thought I'd probably get stuff like the sofa and armchair (which is gorgeous), kitchen table and chairs, but not the ceramic or very tiny stuff. Dd's only 4 and although she's not clumsy I think she's not careful enough for some of the things. I think it's meant for adult collectors. I've seen a few catalogues for doll's houses now which are incredibly expensive - up to £2,500 for some of the houses and an incredible array of interior things, all pricey, and made to look at rather than play with.

Having said that, dd's not into the really clumpy kids furniture in all those gaudy colours. She wants 'real' looking furniture but obviously sturdy enough for her to handle.
