Trainers that seem to have wheels??

I need to find a a pair for my nephew but I'm totally clueless about them. I saw a kid whizzing about in woolworths the other day in a pair of these trainers/skates. They look like your regular trainers but they must have wheels underneath, although looking at it, it's possible to walk normally with them as well, any ideas on what they're called? Are they expensive?

very expensive, £65, called heelies, have a 6 year old whos desperate for a pair

BATtymumma · 24/10/2006 00:25

yuo can find cheap copy versions for about £20 but the real things are about £60.

the wheels retracts so they are normal trainers, they just have a very thick sole.

BadHair · 24/10/2006 00:31

Alibaldi · 24/10/2006 00:32

us website

Alibaldi · 24/10/2006 00:36

Blimey don't even go there - Heely's that is they're so expensive. Would try ebay to see if you can get some cheaper.

macwoozy · 24/10/2006 00:38

Thanks, I knew MN the right place to ask but I'm not prepared to pay sixty odd quid on a present for my nephew, his parents can do that I will try ebay although I wouldn't mind a pair for myself skating around Tescos!
