Bought mine when ds no 2 arrived and ds no 1 was 22 months old as I couldn't bear the thought of a double buggy. Never looked back, absolutely brilliant - but do use in conjunction with a wrist strap to disencourage jumping off and running away!! Good luck.

I had one, very handy and got half the cost back when sold it second hand. They've got them in the big Tescos at the moment. R

Yes I've got one and couldn't do without it. Was a bit worried about whether it would fit the 'pram' (Mamas & Papas 'Sherpa' but it fits fine. I'd heard stories of them coming off when going up and down kerbs etc but have never had a problem with ours. No 2 is 5 months and No 1 was 3 when her brother arrived. It's surprising how light it is to push them both. Possible down side is that No 1 won't walk very far, but the theory was that I'd go for long walks with both of them and lose lots of weight (ha ha!)

My2, 4 and 5 year old go on and off when we go for long walks and its really handy they feel really independent but you can always rein them in!

I bought my buggy board 2 months ago as I was trying to avoid using a double pushchair when my second child came along. I am really pleased with it. It handles the kerbs wonderfully, it doesn't interfere with my stride like I was expecting, and my 3 year old loves to be on it. Do watch out though as it can over balance if he is not standing squarely on the step.

Thanks everyone. I bought one and it is brilliant and we have had a great time with it - dd loves it!!!

Can anyone tell me who sells these apart from John Lewis? Am trying to find a second hand one but if I don't will need a new one before children go to nursery/playgroup in September. Thanks.

philly · 22/07/2002 13:25

Tesco.com sell them as do Great Little trading co

GillW · 22/07/2002 14:20

They turn up quite regularly on Ebay

New, then you can get them from www.kiddicare.com

emmagee · 22/07/2002 18:53

Fionn where are you as we have a hardly used one in north/east london?

Fionn · 22/07/2002 19:13

Emmagee I'm in west London but happy to travel..I'm very interested. How much do you want for it?

zebra · 22/07/2002 19:24

2yo 8m old DS won't really use it. He wants to walk, or he's too tired to stand, or he wants to go a different direcction (he normally throws tantrums about coming home). I seem to be the only person who can't get on with my BB. Maybe when DS gets older.....

emmagee · 23/07/2002 11:15

Fionn, if you ask mumsnet to give you my email address I'll give you my tel no and we can sort something out.

Fionn · 24/07/2002 07:27

Thanks emmagee. I've emailed mumsnet and am waiting for them to get back to me so will call you very soon.

bundle · 24/07/2002 12:22

anyone else looking for one, they're down to £32.99 on kiddicare.com (free delivery when you spend more than £50)
