Does anyone child's have one? Do they like it and how old are they? My five year old really wants one for christmas but I'm not sure it will be worth the money.

6 yr old got it for her birthday, 7 yr old plays with it.
Depends on the child, but the more you play with it the more you can do iyswim
If you don't play with it she packs her bags and leaves and you have to start again.

They interact with others quite well, so it's better if your dd has a friend with one.
I will be buying my other dd one at Christmas.

They are so expensive aren't they, I just brought Dd1 the car for her birthday and was shocked i'd had to pay £15 for something the size of a large keyring.

She'd better like it now.

5 may possibly be a bit young I think. Can tell you more after 11/11 when Dd opens hers.

My DD (nearly 5) had the Mall one a few weeks ago for a very special treat. she does enjoy playing with it but the instructions it came with are extremely limited. We can't work out how to get her haircut or buy a pet, but until I read this thread I didn't realise it works better the more you play with it so that may be why.

It is expensive for what it is but then all the stuff advertised on tv is. Just returned from Toyrus and bought the car for her birthday next week. I'm a glutton for punishment.
