Dp is set on a bugaboo I am bit at price but admit to quite liking it inasmuch as it will do everything we want.
I have seen the icandy apple online but it cannot be sold online and thre is no clue about price etc or how it compares

looks cool! and the under basket thingy seems bigger than the bugaboo.
are you trying to find a place that sells them?

misdee · 17/10/2006 22:18

aarronsmummy has one.

i have a loola, and i dont want to sell it after a few hours like i usually do.

xena · 17/10/2006 22:18

Is there a daisy and tom near you? the one in bluewater has it in stock

xena · 17/10/2006 22:19

Have you got it already misdee that was quick! am loving my buzz too

lexiemum · 17/10/2006 22:21

I've seen it on the streets of oxford - to be honest I thought it was a bugaboo.

guess you'll have to phone the stockists for prices.

misdee · 17/10/2006 22:22

yup, the man delivered it personally.

was a tad musty, so has been cleaned up.

seems alright, so far. i like the fact i can fold it with the seat rear facing

Piffle · 17/10/2006 22:27

I have emailed the nice icandy pram man about a catalogue and prices...
No D+T near me - luckily or I'd be bankrupt
Baby not due til March LOL no hurry but if it's going to set up back £500 I'll need to start saving

yes, i didnt really want a stroller, i wanted to see serena, so opted for a 2nd hand loola after selling the others. it fills the stroller need and she can face me.

I have a ziko alfie for dd (4), but will keep it as a 2nd lighter buggy for next child.
My main worry is buggy boards -with dd's mobility needs I don't think she'll be up to walking full time and am worried about how much room there is to push the pram without kneing your buggy boarded child in the back...

whereabouts are you, Piffle? Daniels in Windsor has both the iCandy & the Bugaboo (plus tonnes of others). I spent a couple of hours playing with them all & asking lots of awkward questions, much to the shop assistants' disgust! The iCandy looked cool, decent shopping basket, but heavier to push than the quinny buzz and the mutsy 4-rider. I found the shape of the handlebar very uncomfortable too..... but that might just be me!

shhhh · 17/10/2006 22:42

apparently the manufacturers wanted to appeal to a select market so thats why they don't sell it everywhere and only select places actually stock it.Oooeerrr..!

I remember checking when we wanted a pram for hol's that was compact and took a car seat etc. I think it was around £500 ish...

Piffle · 17/10/2006 22:44

not that much cheaper then...
No I'm in rural Lincs, there is a stockist in bloody Skegness MILES away.
I don't want a travel system. Just the carrycot and seat that can face either way with a decent all terain option that will still fit in rural village/town shops doors and aisles (had a P+T til i moved here, swiftly abandoned)

I got the price through,
The iCandy Apple retails at £399.99 for the full combination package which includes stroller, carrycot, separate raincovers for both, additional jogger wheel, adaptors for the maxi cosi car seat (bugaboo charge £27 for these adaptors) and pump for the air wheels.

as a stroller only £279.99.

footmuff retails at £49.99 changing bag £29.99.
Heaps better value than the BUG IMHO
