Wrinkle emergency

OMG I spotted the most enormous wrinkle on my face this morning and I've been thinking about it ever since. It's more like a big trench and I'm not normally so shallow but I've got to try and do something about it!

Any recommendations for anything at all that really does smooth skin out - or is it all clap trap and I might as well make friends with it?

Where is it? Forehead or crow's feet?

Have a look here wrinkle creams

I have a friend who swears by the Nivea Q10 cream, and there are meant to be some very good Avon ones.

If little wrinkles around your eyes you could try the makeup artist trick of haemorrhoid cream to tighten the skin as a temporary fix for a night out or special occasion.

Have I got the right Dottydot, did you recently post wedding pics on here?

Hope that helps

Hi - yes it's me! The wrinkle/crevice in question is just to one side of my mouth (I've clearly been laughing too much).

37, but I can't do scary injection-type things...

Ooh, Socci have you had it done?? There is another kind of 'filler' for laugh lines that isn't botox, also isn't there some technique where they get fat from other areas and inject?

I am too cowardly and would just learn to love them I think!

Print off a couple of these and distribute instead of RL smiles!!

I'm making myself feel better by telling myself it's 'cos I'm losing weight - my face is less fat and therefore seeing a few wrinkles is a good thing...

Surely I could be slim and wrinkle-free for a couple of years?

Well, Dottydot, that sounds preferable to injecting fat from your bottom into your face!! (which is apparently the 'other area', eek!)

Dottydot · 16/10/2006 21:13

Well, there's certainly a lot of fat there - almost tempting to put it to good use!

Think I'll stick with the Nivea recommendation though - will buy some in the morning and get applying!
