Bought it but didn't find it overly helpful TBH. We ended up just following our own lead in the end although there are a few useful hints which we did use. If you haven't bought a copy already I would be happy to send you mine, just contact me via another talker.

I thought it was useful tbh, though as with her other books I'm not someone who takes it literally - I just take the gist and sees what works.

Her list of what they should be able to do as preparation was very useful - I learnt the hard way that they need to be able to manage to pull up and down pants and trews. Also I followed her advice on tracking accidents etc and when to give up.

Training DS1 took 2 goes: the first when he was 2y 3m (and was on "my timetable" which lasted a week and then I quit. The second was at 2y 6m (when he had fulfilled the GF pre-requirements!), and we were done within 10 days or so.

Haven't used a specifically potty-training book, but used her Toddler book and found it very helpful indeed. But the best advice I can give is to leave it as late as possible. We tried training ds at 20m, when he was showing most signs and it didn't work - although he was very keen and clearly did his best to comply. We tried again when he was 2y10m and it took - literally - 48 hours.

I found it worth reading. If you can take Bagpuss' offer I would. Just made me feel calmer and like it was going to work.
