DREAMS? I don't know how much you have to spend, but I think it's very important to have a good quality mattress - after all, your DS could be spending 12 hours a day in it. (sorry to nag - mattresses and shoes are my "buy the very best you can afford" hang ups)
HTH.

Hi ssd Not sure how much you want to spend but I was looking for matresses for dd not so long ago and tbh had difficulty finding a decent cheap one. I ended up buying a Eurolux foam mattress for £110 which is fabulous and really comfy and also a damn sight more than I meant to spend. I think it was called the tots to teens mattress. It was definitely a good buy tho

Ikea,

They have foam and sprung ones from £25 tho they are the thinner ones, average thickness from £80

thanks for all replies, think we'll have to save up a bit I didn't realise they were so expensive!
