yumple · 16/04/2004 20:05

insanidee · 16/04/2004 20:14

goosey · 16/04/2004 20:41

Lucky you ... do they do cookers too?

mummysurfer · 16/04/2004 20:50

me too Coddy. he came last week, that's 15 months since his first visit. once again i am amazed. we ahve a douible oven but he only did the main one plus all the shelves and 2 grill pans, took him 3 hours, £39, bit steep but looks like brand spanking new and it was gross.
he does hobs too.

so now it's raost chickens from tesco in roasting bags so no spalshes.

here he is

Codswallop · 16/04/2004 20:51

sorry here he really is

charlieplus3 · 16/04/2004 20:51

£39 thats a bargin. Mine cost £55 from cookaburra, would have been £68 if he done the extractor too but he forgot.

mummysurfer · 16/04/2004 20:53

i think mine is pretty despewrate ... he must have called us about 6 times since his last visit, plus sent a letter.
he can't be busy

Codswallop · 16/04/2004 20:54

I cna tell you tht mine tuckes his shirt into his pants

OP posts:
mummysurfer · 16/04/2004 20:59

and HOW do you know that?????

Codswallop · 16/04/2004 21:02

it was all too visib;e

OP posts:
goosey · 16/04/2004 21:04

Well it can't be very pleasant if you get bits of oven-scrape stuck down there can it? Quite sensible of him really I'd say.

mummysurfer · 16/04/2004 21:04

yuck
i reckon the reason ours isn't doing very well is he has no persona;ity. none at all. well if he's going to be working in people's homes he needs to be chatty, friendly, bit of a laugh. but he is a complete nothing. good job he cleans ovens well

mummysurfer · 16/04/2004 21:05

oven grease in your crack, hmmm, wouldn't be pleasant

Janh · 16/04/2004 21:05

coddy, trust me, it won't happen.

Think I will just buy a new one this year.

Codswallop · 16/04/2004 21:07

jan

do it

OP posts:
twiglett · 16/04/2004 21:08

message withdrawn

mummysurfer · 16/04/2004 21:08

if you do it, you won't need a new one but it'll look like you have

Janh · 16/04/2004 21:14

coody, d'you mean do it buy a new one or do it have him in?

Only I had him in last year and vowed to wipe every time and now mine is disgraceful again. Hence needing new one!

(Aksherly new kitchen would be good too.)

Codswallop · 18/04/2004 15:53

are you really buying a new oven?
