Have seen these on toys r us website.

Are they any good? Need ideas for Jessica and Rebecca's christmas presents, and we are quite brassic so havent got heaps to spend.

Do the "sets" come with the people too or do i buy them seperately?

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

They normally come with some people, but you can buy bonus tubes of em. I like Little People, but B has pretty much grown out of them now in favour of things that bend more, so I'm not too sure how long Jess will want them?

They are great solid toys though, and me n Psycho had hours of fun one day setting up a village (aqnd glaring at the children when they tried to play with our toy!!!)

Sets come with a few people each but you can also buy tubes of 3 or 4 and smaller sets of say tricycle with one or two people and acessories for under £5 or plane/bus has driver/pilot and passengers. By the time you have a few of the larger pieces you have quite a few ! dd is 8 and still occasionally plays it with dd (5) having had his first set at about a 18 months - plenty of play value !

they are great, and sturdy enough that rebecca will be able to play with them alongside jessica. I would def recomend them. We had the house, the garage and the car wash at one time. It's oen of the only toys that all four of mien can play together with.

They are nice. I got DD some for her birthday last year. IIRC they do come with some figures, but you can get little tubes of figures as well quite cheaply. We've got the house , the playground and the bus . You can see the figures you get in the pictures

Toys R Us are doing a save 25% when spend over £30 on Little People.Ive bought 2 sets for xmas for dd's to go with the ones they have.

CrocodileKate · 02/10/2006 10:18

Keep an eye out for special offers. We got the house and the village last year for half price.

Thats FAB - thank you. Jessica has just turned 2 (well July) and Rebecca will be 1 at the end of the month.

If its all good, i think i have xmas and Rebecca's birthday sorted. I really want to get them things they can play with together with such a small age gap!

Right, now to just decide whick ones to get LOL

At that age it'll last for ages. We don't have Little People, but Happyland, but same idea. DD is now 4 and just started school, but she still plays with HL, as do her friends. She can spend hours sat playing alone, in her own world - in a totally different way to how she did when tiny.

EnidMyers · 02/10/2006 10:22

dd2 LOVED hers and still plays with the railway 2 years on

LIZS · 02/10/2006 10:23

Have to say intitially ds didn't show a lot of interets in it but when his friends could join in and then dd it has come into its own !

Flamebat · 02/10/2006 10:27

Oooh I thought Jessica was older than that

Yup - get em then

divamummy · 02/10/2006 10:50
