Carless needs to buy a car seat

I am due in July, don't even own a car. Baby will come home in a taxi. Most of the shopping will be done on foot with a pushchair, with the occasional taxi ride.

Should I buy a car seat? Everything I read says it would be irresponsible not to. Any suggestions which one?

Ixel, now I know where you mean. That will be fun. I think just the carrier. (I am sure you will get your 2nd) So when? I am free Tues pm, or anytime Wed, Thurs or weekends.

Anyone else want to join us?

Tomkitty...Wednesday about 12? Or the weekend? Either of these would be best for me. Will check here and see what you want to do! Glad to be able to give it to someone who needs it. Don't think baby 2 will be feasible, as ds1's cousin has been staying... dh has realised how much hard work it is!!!!

Hi Ixel - Whew, glad I checked in today. How about Sat 15th at about 12? I have a dr appt for Wed at 2pm and so 12 wed would be cutting it close.

Hello Ixel - I am looking forward to it! 2pm tomorrow.

I think probably no thanks on the diapers, just because I will be going out with DH immediately afterwards and probably won't be keen to carry them around.
