What sort of fold-up / roll-up bed should I get to keep at grandparents' house for toddler? (Need to order online.)

For DD1 who's only recently moved to a bed - she's two and a half.

I haven't got one so not sure if they are any good but what about one of those ready-beds (inflatable mattress with integral sleeping bag)?

Presumably they pack away small and providing you have a pump should be quick and easy to inflate?

DS (same age & went into a bed 2-3 months ago) slept fine in his inflatable Thomas Ready bed when we went to PILs recently, but I probably wouldn;t use it for longer stays - maybe one of those chair bed things with a proper duvet would be better?

Depends on the space available to store it as well I guess.

Yes, the ready bed gets my vote. We have one each for DDs (6 and 4) and DS (20 months - for camping, he's in a cot at home). There's a junior one which has slightly raised sides and a 'headboard' which is what DS has. I think you can use it until 5 years old. Then the normal one is until 8. They have an integrated fleece blanket which zips up the side (no zip on junior one). You might need an extra blanket if it's cold. They come witha foot pump and take 2-3 minutes to inflate. HTH.

We got ds a my first ready bed. Great for staying out anywhere an easy to store. We use it for cmaping.

We have a Thomas ready bed, and find it just fine. Planning on putting Franny's DS in it tomorrow night, now that I think of it ...

Readybed here too.

readybed here too. But ds's is the adult one from argos as they are half the price and will last (provided it donesn't break) for more than twice as long

My mum has got the zip up mattress (I think) from The Futon Company

Where can I get a readybed online?
