Anyone know where I can buy them that will deliver by Weds - or anyone got any I could buy/borrow - need leggings and jacket or all-in-one. She is a big 19 months so 18 months - 2yrs or even 2 years would do.

(oh and I don't want to spend lots of money as she will doubtless have grown out of them by next winter....)

littletrekkers.co.uk and go to waterproof clothing

really good quality - not that expensive and sizes quite big - DS has had his about 8 months and reckon it will still fit him for another year - I just roll up sleeves and trousers.
not sure about delivery but you could call them they are really good.

katierocket · 05/04/2004 13:53

forgot to say that we got the keela waterproof jkt and trousers (£22)

mummysurfer · 05/04/2004 13:54

why do you need one?
if its for outdoor type holiday eg. The lakes i'd wait til yoy got there, more choice/ more competition/better price

CountessDracula · 05/04/2004 13:55

katierocket that looks perfect, thanks!
Mummysurfer, we're going to Wales but only for a few days so don't really want to spend time shopping when there! Plus we are in middle of nowhere so would be long time in car too.

Muddy Puddles ship next day for £6. We have waterproof leggings from tere (£10) and they're great. DS2 fell flat on his face in a muddy puddle whilst wearing them and was bone dry. Except for his ordinary outdoor coat!

His nursery like the children to have them so they can play in the garden if it's muddy without getting their clothes dirty. He's 3 and hasn't outgrown the 18 month size yet so they're quite roomy!

Bagpuss30 · 05/04/2004 14:00

We have splash and play suits from Little Green Earthlets which are very good for playing in the garden etc. My dd is 19 months and has the 18-30 month size which was only £10. Delivery was fairly prompt too. I think PHP also do similar. If you are wanting urgently I think Urchin do suits from around £20 and you could pay for next day delivery from them.

Thanks Bagpuss - and Soupy - have ordered the puddlepac set from Muddy Puddles.

MN triumphs again

Having looked, I'm v tempted to order the puddlepac jacket now. These things are great for leaving (dried) in the car. They wash well too.

It's a cagoule though, isn't it?

CountessDracula · 05/04/2004 14:15

yes- even better as her favorite game is unpopping poppers/undoing buttons/unzipping zips at the mo.

SoupDragon · 05/04/2004 14:46

Have just ordered 2 PuddlePak jackets, special delivery. We're off to Wales this weekend oddly enough.

CountessDracula · 05/04/2004 14:47

ooh really, where? We're going to Carmarthenshire

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 05/04/2004 14:49

Somewhere near Cardigan I believe. I don't know anything about the geography of Wales.

CountessDracula · 05/04/2004 14:53

Not far from me

here is a map to help you

Cardiganshire is two thirds of the way down on the left. Carmarthenshire is one in from that.

What are you going for?

LIZS · 05/04/2004 14:56

CD if you can get to H and M they do rubberised dungaree-style waterproofs with adjustable straps so they last ages. dd still in size 80 at 2.5 !

SoupDragon · 05/04/2004 15:01

FILs birthday. DH has hired a cottage for us, the PILs and BIL/SIL + baby.

LIZS · 05/04/2004 15:04

How about here . You can pay extra for next day delivery (£6 rather than £2.50)

CountessDracula · 05/04/2004 15:04

Can you sneak out for a pint?

Thanks LIZS will bear that in mind for future.

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 05/04/2004 15:05

I doubt it. I'm already sneaking home early to go and see Duran Duran at Wembley!

CountessDracula · 05/04/2004 15:05
