Gro Clock - when is too soon?

Hello all. So. I have a (gorgeous) 13 month old boy who is FINALLY sleeping through most nights after what seems like forever of broken nights sleep. Fantastic, yes I know. However. He now wants to get up for the day somewhere between 5 - 6am. This is killing me and hubby and frankly i feel we deserve more sleep at this point following over a year of breastfeeding and a determined no controlled or any other type of crying policy even in the face of a peak of 13 wake ups in under 12 hours.

With this in mind I bought a gro clock which i've heard such good things about but Logan (my son) clearly has no idea what this is all about although he appears to like the pics very much! Am I spoiling the impact by using it too early or should I persevere and hope for the best?

I have it set for 6.30 (which feels like a mahousive lie in currently) and this morning sat in his room with him for 1hr 10mins reading books in the dark(ish) pointing at the clock saying "look, it's still sleep time" until the sun face came on. It all feels slightly ridiculous.

Has anyone had any experience with the Glo Clock and can you share any top tips please?????

Many thanks (yawn, stretch) x
