I'm sure i've seen toddlers perched on the back of buggies/pushchairs before - my buggy board has just broken and i hate it so much anyway am now looking for a new solution. we only need it occasionally as DD a good walker.

I'm just looking in plikos for this reason; the step isnt intended for toddlers I dont think, but thats what they get used for!

i think that was probably the one i was thinking of. thanks

Well, mine hasn't a step, exactly, but the frame is so sturdy that my almost 4 year old uses it to jump on when he is to lazy to walk and aslong as you have a child in the Pushchair it works fab
I have a Adventure Buggy Venturer, but the new model is called Everest! Just google it

cat64, Mamas&Papas are still making pushchairs with the step - far too popular for them to stop! The Pliko, P3, Pramette and Mod all have them.

i have a pliko witha step thing on the back. its not meant for children, its to make it easier going up a kerb but i put my 3 yo on it when he gets tired.

mustrunmore · 13/09/2006 20:45

And its sturdy enough? I dont want to shell out for another buggy just for one feature that wont work according to plan

MerlinsBeard · 13/09/2006 20:47

my 3 yo isn;t very heavy, only just 15kg (whatever that is in lbs) and also doesn't go it for long if at all. It has made the buggy rickety now, altho already was a bit (2nd hand)

Hmmm. Was hoping not to go down the buggyboard route...
