Coddy, you could be mumsnet's very own 'Michelle'- got any wedding photographs that you'd like to share with us?

I strongly recommend my rubber broom and bacon press (but not together!).

Ooooooh, I got a new Lakeland catalogue today, CRAFTS! I'm not a crafty person but its lovely and I'm looking forward to a good browse.

marthamoo · 02/04/2004 12:37

I'm not crafty either, but flicking through that catalogue I suddenly got the urge to make my own cards...it passed though

I like my washing basket, and my multi peg sock hanger on the line thing, and my lock and lock boxes, and my wine bottle stoppers, and my bacon storage box, and my potato ricer, and my kitchen tongs, and my julienne maker, and my microwave rice cooker, and my foil dispenser, and my clingfilm dispenser, and my worktop saver, and my steamer....

craft shit really, I wanted storage - thats my fave. the skill involvedint those card packs is hilariously small!

" Stick A on B and there is a card"

jampot · 02/04/2004 12:42

I can thoroughly recommend Magic Balls - excellent for cleaning vases, babies bottles, anything really!!!!

Michelle, I love your photo in the card on the covering letter with the craft catalogue! - maybe you should substitute it for the one on the moderators page

Has anyone tried those flexible cake and muffin trays? Are they really worth 13 quid a pop?

Codswallop · 28/04/2004 20:28

ah now my mum has the yorkshire pudding ones and she says that they are no goo dif you get the fat hot on the stove before putting them inthe oven

otherwise yes I think good

My indulgnece is getting cake tin liners pre cut

I hate lining tins

suzywong · 28/04/2004 20:52

thanks for the tip lady C
I'll do you a job lot, I'm whizz with the baking parchment and the scissors

Millie1 · 29/04/2004 22:05

I use the flexible muffin trays to freeze batches of food for DS! They're great - perfect sized portions which pop out so easily. Haven't tried them for baking though.

I daren't think how much I spend each year in Lakeland! I work part-time and it probably just about covers my obsession with Lakeland, Boden and Laura Ashley! I wouldn't mind, but my house and I still look like the "before" from a "before and after" feature!
