Where can I get a HUGE sink?

We're thinking of re-doing our utility room, and dh and I agree that what we need is a REALLY big sink! Whilst staying in the US recently we saw something like this , which would be ideal! Does anyone know where we can get one in the UK?

Out fall-back option would be a Belfast-type sink, but none that I've seen seem very deep!

Nothing similar to the one you showed. How about a catering one , though they're stainless steel. Or a suggestion I saw in a google link from someone who was a potter, was to mount a bath at waist height. Unusual, certainly, and would give you loads of room!

not enough room for a bath AND a drainer, but the catering sinks are a good idea, thanks for that.

How deep are you looking for?

We have the ikea double 'belfast-style' sink, Domsjo - can't do links so you'll have to copy and paste if interested.

ttp://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?topcategoryId=15576&catalogId=10103&storeId=7&productId=34231&langId=-20&categoryId=15722&chosenPartNumber=10049143

Stats are:

Width: 82.4 cm
Depth: 64.1 cm
Height: 24.5 cm

We wash up on one side and then use the other side as a drainer.

(And if you end up looking for the single bowl version of Domsjo, I have one which we bought and didn't get round to returning)

thanks, Bluebear, but was hoping for a bit deeper! (May be a vain hope though!)

just googled...double belfast sink and came up with this one...

big enough?

Bluebear · 10/09/2006 20:24

That one isn't as deep as mine, so I guess not.
I tried googling 'trough sinks' for you (thinking horse's troughs are quite deep). Trough sinks are deep but very narrow.

Bluebear · 10/09/2006 20:27

Ohh, I apologise, just noticed that the 'farmhouse 1000' has a depth of 27.5 (well they call it height, but it's depth in my mind)
