Hello,
I am a product design student who is interested in developing a new product or concept designed especially for children that will help mothers to manage taking care of their child. I was wondering if anyone on here had anything that would make a good starting point for my project. It could be a simple problem that you have come across as a mum of an unborn child or a newly born child or of older children. Is there a specific product that annoys you or doesn't do the job it's meant to? or is there a particular task involved in taking care of your child that you find difficult that you think could be solved by an innovative product? I am simply looking for a problem that I can start from and develop a solution to. I would be very grateful if you could help me with this.
Thank you,
Iamaproductdesignstudent (aka Chloe)

So there aren't many disability friendly pushchairs or baby carriers? An interesting point, which could lead to some good ideas, thanks. Are there any other product or situation related problems associated with having twins?

If you could come up to a solution to the problem of how to stay dry when you're pushing a buggy in the rain you'll be mega rich.

Buggies basically come with a handle or bar. Bars are easy to push one handed, handles tend to fold smaller. At the moment mums can stay dry by pushing the buggy with one hand and holding an umbrella with the other or walking in waterproof clothing.

There must be a better solution to deal with unpredictable weather. Maybe the umbrella could be clipped onto a buggy ? I don't know.

Iamaproduct as far as I know there is only one buggy that clips onto a wheelchair it's single one designed by a university.
