Bear, don't get me started on Apple Powerbooks. DH is obsessed with the really great deal that Micro Anvika are doing on one at the mo. It has taken all my powers of persuasion to make him see sense though .

Don't worry E3 will not be obsolete which ever model you buy, so long as all the bits fit! (That's what I'm telling myself anyway). Can't really say any of the changes would make much difference to us. I am trying to work out why they feel the need to extend the crotch strap though. Ours comes up to dd's chin almost, so if it were any longer it would be over her head (would be handy if she was having a tantrum though ).

Bluebear, you must be really excited now. When it arrives, we will bow to your superior E3ness .

re 10p bottom sizes, I have the sheepskin liner already, was going to design a wedge until her botty grows a bit. if it works I'll make one for anyone who wants one!
LOL
easier folding with V2???
how could it get any easier????

Arghhh...my E3 has gone missing. It was delivered to my dh's hotel in San Francisco but not to him...they're searching the hotel for it now...I'm worried someone's nicked it
Hopefully they've stuck it in a stock cupboard or something..dh is refusing to check out until they find it..but if they don't then I don't know what we'll do.
ARGHHHHHHH

It's turned up and is in the boot of the car on the way to the airport - I really have to get a life other than E3 worship!

Hi, I just bought the e3 here in the states about a month ago from joggingstroller.com. Not sure which version I've got because I didn't know there were two, didn't even know this stroller existed until recently! Was wondering if the sheepskin liner worked for anyone. My toddler is on the slim side and it's a chore to keep him from sliding down. Also, do yours come with strap covers? Ours didn't have them.
Also, it says in the directions that you can use the stroller with a carseat. Haven't got a clue how, as it is listed as an "accessory." Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi I have had an E3 for 8mths and have had afew problems P & T get on to it fast but now with toddler and newborn it a problem to send buggy away to get repaired, eg:holes appearing in fabric when buggy folded, holes in hood window. anyone else had these problems?it is starting to annoy me. HELP

kiwisbird · 26/04/2004 19:58

It is one of the downsides to buying from overseas. You have mailed jenna and Tim in Nz if that is where you got it from...?
They will probably allow you to send back just the fabric and hood etc which is relatively cheap. they also have bonafide branch in Holland they may strike a deal from there?
Worth asking and being insistent
And as for the carseat thing?
Never heard of that?

Marita · 02/05/2004 04:05

Checked with someone at philandteds.com and the carseat adapter thing is for the new e3 (v2) but I think you might be able to use it on the older one, not sure.
Also, talked to Rodney about the difference between v1 and v2. He says they are basically the same, except the frame is bigger, meaning the seat and newborn bed is slightly bigger. Also, from looking at the directions for the new stroller, the doubles kit seat snaps on with these special hinges, so you don't have to take out the bar at all. Oh well.
