My oven door smashed. Do I have to buy a whole new oven, or can I get away with just the new door?

I think the one I've got is this . The hinge went and the whole thing just fell out and smashed. My friend thinks because the hinge is broken I might need a whole new oven. What does Mumsnet think?

which bit of the hinge went? If it was the door side of the hinge then I'd think you're ok to put a new door on, but if it was the oven side of the hinge I'd reckon you'd need to replace at least the hinge.
Ring the manufacturer - they're normally quite good about spares. What make / model oven is it?

It's a diplomat 610. I cannot find the manufacturers anywhere on the internet.

As far as I can tell, Diplomat are only sold by MFI as part of their fitted kitchens so it might be worth getting in touch with MFI.
Interspares carry spare parts for them too

i've got one of these you can literally take the door off to clean the oven so i imagine it would be quite easy to replace the door and hinges good luck hunting down. i'll have a surf too
