How do you keep them assemeld?
do you defer to your ds to fix them?
DO you chuck them under coverof darkness?

Have you told her, though, coddy?

(If I find any more CD Roms you can have one, promise.)

Thanks JanH

If Coddy wants the Toy Story one am happy to give that up in the name of good mumsnet relations. Don't want anyone calling me names

We used to have clear outs of any broken pieces of plastic when ds was not there. He never noticed. He was the expert on each and everyone though and knew exactly which bit fitted onto which other bit but didt bother with them when broken. He would never have agreed to them being chucked though. I hate to think how much money we spent on cheap plastic over the years.

Aw, Kayleigh, you are kind! Too late though (I suppose I could ambush the postman tomorrow morning....)

Whilst on the subject of boys toys - I have just discovered recently GeoMag. But does anyone know where I can get some of the panels from? For me, not my ds! I want to build the Eiffel Tower.

LOL ... we recently came across Geomag, and I was quite taken with it. This was obviously noted, as I was bought sets of it by two separate people for my birthday! So we have loads ... no panels here yet

My son loved his beyblades - not too interested now but we have loads. As for Power Rangers - still loves them and Bionicle - well, adores building them, taking them apart and recreating his own models. Excellent value.

I don't think DS2s TMNT rucksack is big enough for a lunchbox. It was from Woolies I think.

You could get him some of these to go with his bag!!

Slightly off-topic, but I was in dd's class last week helping, and overheard her teacher say to one of the boys "Will you please stop talking about Michaelangelo?". I was really impressed for a few seconds....

I thought they were rather tasteful myself

You're right about the education thread, I was killing myself, it was just such a funny image somehow, esp. given the boy concerned!

SoupDragon · 27/03/2004 21:42

Snigger

kiwisbird · 27/03/2004 22:20

we chuck whenever we find one not in it's rightful place..
We no longer have
crazeebones
bey blades
we sold the poer rangers mega zord menaces on ebay for money back...
Lego is under strict supervision - he does look after that
DS is 10 he sorts his own bionicle out (I could not tell the diff anyway)
And the Knex is in the loft I have only so much sanity left and if I stand on a stry piece I die and so does the offending piece AND tthe person who left it there
