Best light all terrain pushchair?

Hi, sorry I know there is some threads on this already but they are all quite old so looking for some recent reviews!

I'm pregnant with baby number 4 (others older!) and looking for a new pram/pushchair... being and experienced mum I know what I want, but can't seem to find it! Any help?! Here are the must haves...

  • Must be suitable for regular 'real' off road use- woods, beach etc.
  • must be reasonably compact/light. I know I won't get a buggy weight but I don't want something huge! It has to fit in a family hatch with a dog!! I used to have a jane slalom but it's just too big and heavy.
  • pram or bassinet is a must
  • must be able to fold with seat in situ.

Ideally...

  • have parent facing option.

I've been looking at the baby jogger city mini gt (lacks parent face), baby jogger city verso (is this really all terrain?!) and the guzzie and guss 042 (google it!!). Anyone used these or have any other ideas?!!

Thanks so much :) x

I have an instep nipper 360, not sure if they do a carrycot but it's fab, also the mountain buggy is very good and that does have the option of a carrycot.

If you ask for this to me moved into pushchairs there will be more ideas but imo you need an easywalker mini, it's the smallest terrain thing I can think of.

Fab, thanks for the advise. How do I move it? New here :)

Try the Babyjogger City Elite.

Baby jogger versa gt - does everything you ask for!

I feel I should know how to get it moved but I find now I think about it that I have absolutely no idea. Sorry. Is it something to do with reporting your post and asking in the text box bit could they please move it to...?

Versa gt is fab, it's not light or particularly small although there are plenty bigger. It's quite a bit cheaper than an easywalker mini. I'm waiting to see what the easywalker mosey is like, it should be cheaper and simpler to use than the mini but doesn't have air tyres.

The casualplay kudu 3 is another reversible 1 piece fold with air tyres but I don't know much about it.

Forward facing mountain buggies historically have been very reliable. There was a manufacturing change at some point circa 2010 so the newer ones are a little different but I think niggly things rather than major issues. The nipper is such a solid option it shouldn't be ruled out, carrycots are certainly available. Also look at the other baby joggers, the elite, the summit etc. Possibly some sort of bob or a bumbleride. Forward facing opens up a lot more options.

I would have a sneaky look at the recaro babyzen too, the carrycot has a backrest adjustment so could possibly be used longer than a traditional carrycot.
