i need some advice please: what's the difference between heaters with a thermostat and ones with electronic climate control? i need a heater for ds' room and it must be one that will keep switching on/off during the night depending on whether the temp in the room meets the one we set on the heater. so do i just look for one that says it has a thermostat?

Does anyone have any recommendations at all?

Ds' room is tiny so it would need to be a tower type that can stand in the corner

thermostat - you'd have to adjust, think the climate control one is the one you'll need but this is just me thinking logically. I may be wrong

that's what i thought at first lexiemum, but i don't understand the function of a thermostat in that case. i know that when my heating's on, the radiators warm up and cool down several times a night depending on whether the room is at the temp i've set on the thermostat....but if that's the case, what's ecc??

can you link to what you want to buy and we can go from there...maybe its just techno jargon with a few extra £££ added for the pleasure!

yes for safety reasons you are best getting a thermostatic heater, when it gets to a certain temp it cuts out!
