Hiya...
I was looking for organic baby products and came across these disposable nappies... has anyone tried them? Are they any good? They are supposed to be more degradable than normal ones.

I use them at night and if I'm away somewhere without my cloth nappies. They are a great nappy - you don't get that wierd chemical smell that you do with pampers etc, they tend not to leak. However although the manufacturing is more eco-friendly than normal disposibles they won't degrade any better in landfill - I think they need to go into a wormery to degrade.

I have used them on an active walking 14m and a 3wo and they were fine, i didn't find much difference in soakability just a little bulkier.

The are absorbant gel free and when used and if left in a tied nappy sack for a week have already started to breakdown.

oh. I cant afford the set up cost of terry ones now, but will with next baby, so I thought they'd be better than pampers etc.

Environmentally friendly disposable nappies. The nappies will break down with out harming the environment. Produced from unbleached cellulose with a soft re-closing bur sealing. The nappies are able to reduce smell by an admixture of tea extracts in the nappies core. The shape or the nappies grant freedom of movement, and they are skin friendly by side permability to air. Nappy packaging is compostable.

Where can I find a wormery to donate to?

If you have a wormery composter then the nappies are broken down in 8 weeks.

is that a compost heap with worms added? My MIL has a compost heap... can I put them there and buy some worms?
