Right, have succumbed to the fact that I'm a SAHM and need to start cooking our food to save money (rather than when I was working and we'd just get stuff in M&S on the way home!) WHich food processor should I get so that I can mince food, combine food, chop food, blend food, puree food etc? Don't want to spend over 50 quid if poss. Many TIA

I have a Cuisinart and love it.

But if I'd had the money I'd have gone for a Magimix.

I spent £100.

Worth EVERY penny.

I have a magimix. It is great. It was a gift though.

For baby food the hand blenders are fab and cheap

Carmenere · 18/08/2006 20:50

A decent hand blender will do most jobs.

You can still get parts for all Magimix up to 32 years have a look at this

I thought I had posted this and forgotten it! was on the point of posting.
The hand blenders won't grate, which is what I want most, to make coleslaw and grated cheese etc.
So is magimix still the answer?

smiling, did you see this one?
