Hi

I am looking at a bebeconfort Loola. Does anyone have one? Is it any good?

Thank you

Don't have one myself, but understand they are v practical, esp with the carrycot, the face forward/away switchable seat and the nifty umbrella fold.
However I saw one at the servcies in Winchester the other day and it's certainly not the prettiest pushchair around. It's not the lightest either, being half as heavy again as (eg) the Pliko P3, but is a sight lighter than some of the mega travel systems out there.
The Creatis carseat that goes with it did quite well in the Which? test, but I haven't seen any results for the Elios - the other carseat option that looks less like a giant egg.

I have one and i love mine, you can have your baby facing you and when they get older put them forward facing, folds up really neat and very nifty when out and about, my only complaint would be access to the basket as there is a sort of cross bar covering it and its a pain getting things in and out

oh and you don't really need to get the pram bed?? the loola is suitable from birth (pics below)

oh, so does the seat lie properly flat? I had thought the 'from birth' recommendation referred the car seat, which you're not meant to use for more than 1.5 hrs so isn't much good for sleeping in.

The carrycot thing has a ventilated mattress and base so you could use it as a moses basket / crib too if you wanted.

There have been a number of threads about the Loola recently, so maybe do a search. I have one as I specifically wanted a rear facing pushchair for dd, who's deaf, so we can talk and sign as we walk along, so from this point of view it's great. However, although it has a few nice features, I honestly wouldn't recommend it if you're not fussed about the rear facing bit. It weighs a ton, is poorly weighted, so getting it up and down kerbs is a real effort, and the shopping basket is tiny and hard to access (it has a maximum weight limit of 2kg). I don't use it for days out as it's just too heavy and I can't fit anything in it. In rear facing mode, you can't hang any shopping on the handles either, as the bag just drapes all over your child. The Loola is a great concept, but Bebeconfort really needs to re-think it. Sorry to be so negative!

Hi charlielola ... I have one for sale if you are interested. I think the colour is called sweet grey (basically dark grey and light grey). I have used the base of it with the car seat (only for a few months) but the push chair attachment has never been used. I am pretty sure I have the rain cover, umbrella etc which are brand new but need to dig them out to double check. Let me know if you want any photos.

mmm have to say that i do agree with some of stringbeans comments, I have infact bought another pushchair from mothercare which is lighter and slimmer and ideal for the summer months, I do think the loola is great for the winter months tho (I will use it again) i didn't particularly find it that heavy but it does fold up quite neatly
