Odd request - 40th birthday present (female)

Bit of an odd request, it's my 40th birthday soon and DH wants to buy me a present, except I can't think of anything at all! I'm really not bothered about a present, but he's insistent...

Can you help me with any ideas? He's suggested expensive things like eternity ring etc, but we have a toddler, are expecting another baby, I'm a SAHM, took on a huge mortgage last year, and I really don't think they're necessary.

I need to give him suggestions 'cos it's really bothering him! Defo less than £100.

Sorry if this sounds like a flash me, me, me post, not intended!

What about something from Tiffany? If you wear silver jewellery there are some gorgeous necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets for around £100.

It feels like a really special present to give and receive because of the fame of Tiffany and the beautiful packaging.

I bought my Mum a gorgeous link necklace for her 60th and she just loved it.

I don't have a suggestion as such but I think SB idea is really lovely.

Could you both go out for a really special meal together?

Thanks all, some great suggestions!

I've had a look on the Tiffany website and seen some nice bracelets , so have pointed him in that direction!

We are going out for dinner - I'm so tired out at the minute tho' (1st trimester!) that I may fall asleep

SB - I LOVE your suggestion, it made me cry (pg hormones!) I may need to find a good photographer with an airbrush to disguise the baby weight I didn't lose 1st time round. Have put this suggestion to him too

Thanks all again xxx

1966 was a good year !! Was 40 in July , same here was on a budget, howver we ahd booked a weekend away with the children !! that we had saved up for and put money away. All I wnated was not to have to cook, clean and tidy up and spend quality time with my family.

Photo idea does sound lovely though !!
