Bravo Bravissimo!

Just wanted to say that I went to the Manchester branch of Bravissimo yesterday and they were excellent. I had a fitting done by a lovely lady who couldn't do enough for me, got loads of bras out and was really friendly. They didn't have one of the bras I wanted in the colour I wanted so it was posted to me free of charge and arrived today, less than 24 hours from ordering. It was £25, which I didn't think was too expensive.

I also had a (rather less well endowed and so not a likely customer!) with me and she was encouraged to sit on the sofas and read magazines whilst I was fitted. I've used their website before (mumsnet recommendation for nursing bras) but this was my first visit to a shop.

Just a totally pampering experience which I would recommend to anyone D-H (I think that's their range).

I have used their posal service and think their customer service is second to none, and their bras are fab. In a comlpletely different league to M&S for instance.
Would love to visit one of their shops.

Hmm I was wondering about ordering from there as I think Ma nd S bras are so confusing. I dont want a paddded muliway with bells and whistles on it!! and all the nice ones stop at D and the bigger ones are so fancy they may as well sound a hooter before you ocme int ot he room !0

Here's a tip Mrs c, if you are unsure of your size phone them up. Thye are incredibly helpful. You pay a set postage(about £3 or £4 I think) but get a free returns/exchange label so best to order a few and return the ones you don't want.

I wore M&S 36DD for years but when I discovered bravissimo their size 34 FF fits like no previous bra ever did. When I went to Canada last year I had to leave one for my amply chested cousin - it was the best bra she had ever worn (aged nearly 50and having had three kids)

Go to the shop, coddy! My mum & I discovered Bravissimo last year & it's fabulous. I've been to the shops in Leeds & Ealing, & the staff in both have been fantstic. I didn't know you could try bras on for quite such a long time.... They really don't pressure you either. I've had ds with my a couple of times & they've been very patient with him too. And it's so nice to find bras in nice colours in bigger sizes (I am turquoise today). Warning though, it becomes quite addictive.

there is an independent shop here that sells bras - run by old ladies and they sell evrything for willy wamers(really) to maternity girdles.

they prod you around too! will try there forst as bravissimo shops are miles away.

New Bravissimo shop just opened in Covent Garden. Can't wait to go after these glowing testimonials as have only used their mail order so far.

Metrobaby · 08/03/2004 09:39

Do they do feeding bras too ??

mammya · 08/03/2004 09:50

Yes they do, have a look at their website

fantastic - I will do. I always have such a nightmare getting bras at the best of times as I have an unusual size - small torso and large cups.
