is mini mode the boots brand???

if so....I not had probs with them....my 4yr old is still in 1 1/2 to 2yr tees's from boots, and is the same size in all other clothes too (he is tiny), so they no bigger, no smaller, in my experience.

HTH

I've had lots of gorgeous outfits from Mini Mode that have only been worn a couple of times because the tops have been tiny. The trousers and skirts are fine but the tops don't match up, size wise. With ds I thought it was just because he was big for his age but I have the same problem with dd and she's about average for her age.

Glad it's not just me!!

biglips · 29/07/2006 09:16

well their tops are small compared to the other different makes - Adsa, matalan, etc of the same age group

I often find the neck holes on the small side and get stuck....or maybe my girls have just got big heads!

biglips · 29/07/2006 09:22

Great thanks,
avo & banana was a big hit this morning, she wolfed down the whole bowl which is a first.

She's just so much happier, itss unbelievable the change in her.
how are you & yours?

biglips · 29/07/2006 09:30

hooray...gald your lo is liking the foods...im fine as we both got over our tummy bug - bad week and my DD who is 21 mths old is an angel (sometimes!) as she been having abit of a tantrum lately mainly cos she is knackered but otherwise she is great.

My dd is 14 months and clothes from mini mode are small on her. She isn't big but the fit is quite small. Our neighbour who has a boy find this a problem as well.

Littlefish · 29/07/2006 13:34

Yes, I think mini-mode comes out small. At 18 months, my dd was wearing an aged 2-3yrs dress. She's absolutely average sized, and the mothercare 18 month clothes were too big for her!

divamummy · 29/07/2006 20:55

yes, definately think they are sooo skinny.

Squarer · 29/07/2006 21:19

I think we're in a similar boat to you Biglips, but that is not one where Minimode stuff is too small.... it's one where our LO's have long bodies!
DS has a long back and short legs. he's in 12-18 month trousers and 2-3 year tops as a general guide. It's not just confined to Minimode.
He's 19 months old to add some extra confusion!
