Cloth Nappy trousers - great find!

For anyone struggling with trousers for children in cloth nappies try H&M. I just bought DS - 20 months a lovely pair of cord from there for £7.99.

They have a popper and zip fly (easy to get on), seem to be cut generously AND have an adjustable waistband exactly like maternity trousers so they fit nice and snugly at the back!

Also full marks to H&M for putting name labels in the clothes you can just write on!

What age/size did you buy Freddiecat? Did you need to buy a size up? Ds is almost 18 months, but generally wears age 2 stuff.

I bought size 92 (which is their age 2-3). DS is quite big for his age. As a comparison, Cherokee (Tesco) age 2-3 trousers are quite a good fit on him. Next age 2-3are really tight and almost impossible to get on.

If I knew whether this baby is a boy or girl I'd go and buy lots more in other sizes.

Am thinking of writing to H&M to congratulate them and also to ask for details of other styles designed the same way.

Thanks for the tip. So tired of poor DS in huge turn-ups just so they fit his waist. Doesn't help that he's tall and solid too...

Bought some Mexx on eBay and they are a good fit. Gap are useless, Boden too.

I have the opposite problem... You know how clothie babies seem to toilet train earlier? I did/do use cloth, but DD toilet trained relatively early (barely over 2yo). She is small for age - now 2.5yo and someone asked today if she was about 18 months! Anyway, all the trousers that are the right leg length they are made for nappies, so have big baggy/saggy bums and that's for disposables! Maybe I should have gone with disps?

Have you tried Seesaw ? I've always found them generous in the "bottom department" compared to most other makes - and as their trousers are all reversable you get two looks for the (admittedly a little more expensive than most) price of one.
