Yves St Laurent - Touche Eclat!

Does anyone know where you can buy YSL Touche Eclat?

Have heard so many excellent reviews, I am desperate to buy!

I live in the smallish seaside town with an average age of 70yo. Only have a Boots (small) to buy beauty/makeup stuff but doesn't sell Clarins or YSL

Are there any department stores/etc that stock it?

I got mine in John Lewis but Debenhams, House of Frazer and larger Boots have it too.

Or put it into Google & you get loads of mail order places.

One piece of advice I got from wise MNers is to regularly wash the brush bit to stop it smelling

Touche eclat made the skin under my eyes really sore and scaly.

Made my undereyes sore and dry too - which defeats the purpose really. Makes the problem even more prominent!

Oooh thanks ladies

Fab site, Tamum - being a Clarins fan as well, may have to make an order!

Lisa78, I have got a Boots No 7 under-eye concealer thing - is that the one you were talking about?

If you are going to buy it on the internet buy from here . Much cheaper and no delivery charges in UK. Have never had any problems with them and stuff arrives within couple of days.

I use Touche Eclat and love it. Makes me look all bright eyed and bushey tailed !

The Boots one is by No7 and is about £10, half the price of the Touche Eclat. No difference as far as I can see but I prefer the gold swagger of the TE.

I'm a big fan, but I have noticed that now that I'm not wearing makeup to work 5 days a week the brush has gotten quite smelly as Twink says. I will definitely wash it now - lucky I didn't throw it out. I used to buy mine duty free when I or my DH travelled.

The Body Shop's version, Lightening Touch I think it's called, is pretty good, although I have never tried the real thing so cannot compare it.

Virgin Vie do a fabulous version for £8.50 - called "Out of the Shadows" and it's virtually indistinguishable from the real thing - you can order online from your local consultant ay www.virgincosmetics.co.uk.

I really can recommend it - it's great stuff !

I agree with Demented, the Body Shop one is really good. A friend used the Clarins one but it looked 'dry' under her eyes. I find the BS Lightening Touch creamy and easy to blend.

I tried The Body Shop one when I lived in Devon and had to drive for an hour to get to the nearest Yves St Laurent stockist (Slinky, I do sympathise!) but I do think Touche Eclat is far superior. The woman in The Body Shop (I mean she worked there) agreed with me. It's fab stuff I think.

Anothewr fan of Touche Eclat here also. I have headrd though from a few people that is is quite drying on the delicte under eye area if you wear it on a regular basis and you should smear vaseline on your eyes at bed time to rehydrate.

Nothing comes close to the real thing IMO I am afraid - is worth the extra money deffo!!

I have wasted god knows how much money over the years and always return to it!!

I can always get you one and send it to you if you want!!

I'm another devotee - it's great! I get it from airports usually as I fly abroad for work and back home to scotland a lot. Ask someone who's going on hol to buy it for you, it's cheaper at the airport as well.
