Has anyone used one of these or got friends who have? New baby due July and ds will be just 2 so not sure he'll be ready for a buggy board. We already have 3 pushchairs so not keen on buying a double buggy!
Seat2Go, found on ebay, sounds perfect but would love some real mums' views - let me know!
thanks

We had one and it was crap
Came out twice as far as a buggy board so really difficult to walk behind it and DS1 would always want to stand on the top seat thingy and after only a short while it broke. We then got a buggy board and it's 1000's time better.

BTW DS1 was only 2 aswell and now DS2 uses the buggy board(DS3 in pram) and has done since 2 and 3 months.

I had one and it was great, I'm only short so the reach over it was a bit much but not too difficult.

Used mine for about a year and did have to replace some parts but they were free as it was under guarantee, found it ideal for dd to sit and eat lunch on the way to afternoon nursery. Dd also worked out a way to nap whilst sitting on it.

Dd was about 3 when we got it and she used it until just befor she was 4 as I walk everywhere. I liked the fact that I could look over her shoulder and read the book she was holding when she stood up

Also I sold mine for roughly the same amount I'd paid for it on ebay!

Maybe thats the secret Twiglett as I'm only 5'4" on a good day.

I'm about 5ft 4 too

jomas · 01/03/2004 14:06

I'm only 5ft3 and definitely NOT long-armed so maybe this isn't for me! Would love DS to walk everywhere but we live up a very steep hill - hard enough for grown-up legs let alone little ones.
Seat2Go would have to work being pushed up hill too - I spose that's going to be hard work whatever we get.
How easy is it to persuade a 2year old to stay on a buggy board and not hop off?

3'1"

We have the seat 2 go, I think it's great, on my chassis [M&P CLassic] it doesn't stick out too far, so doesn't affect my stance. Great novelty factor as child can sit and face you, or kneel up and face forward.

I have also used buggy board and used reins on the 2 year old, loosely wrapped round the pram handles so that they couldn't fall or jump off!

Hope this helps
