Hi all.
I think i'd best get one pretty soon as i'm due in a few weeks and there will only be 17 months between them.
DD2 (who'll be the 17 month old then) does not like being strapped in ANYWHERE so although i really wanted a gorgeous Emmaljunga one i think maybe something lighter might be more appropriate!

So, what are your thoughts and experiences?

hi Angeliz,

We just bought a phil and teds one - expensive, but they seem to retain their value to resell. Went for a walk with it and DS1, and it was really comfortable to push, felt light, and also folds up much much smaller than I thought. Not much bigger really than the Maclaren single buggy I've got.

See you later on the due in Sept thread! C

I've just bought a Nipper 360 and am very happy with it. It's v.light and fits through most doors, however contrary to what the promo stuff says it does not go fully flat. It is certainly flat enough for a new born - I have mine in it - but thought it best to let you know.
I started a thread on this subject a couple of months ago, so look thru the archives and there should be lots of info there for you.

I've got a Marco Sky, which suits my lifestyle very well... gets on buses and in little shops, and is not much bigger than a single umbrella fold. We also have a double xts for jogging. But I'm looking into selling both to part-fund a p&t, as we have our lodger moving back in, so cant store buggies in the spare room anymore! I'll be able to shop and jog with the p&t!

I also have a phil and teds. Was also surprised at how easily it folds and quite small too.
Love it, it is easy to push and use and you can fit in the shops easily!!

mustrunmore · 17/07/2006 21:53

Bought a p&t today, and I'm in love

Xena · 17/07/2006 22:10

I think the p&t is great but I hate it for newborns and toddler as opposed to 2 toddlers DS2 is 13 weeks and to big for underneath dd2 but to small for the toddler seat on the back iyswim. We have swapped with my sister who has a nipper twin and will swap back in another 6mths.

phil & teds e3.
Used it for 6 months with newborn and a 4 yr old and V happy with it.

Snigger at TCF.
She didn't think much of the ole' Phil&Ted when we first tried to sell it to her.

misdee · 17/07/2006 22:18

IF you can get hold of one, get the old style kiwi exporer, its sturdier(i have one for carting peters medical equipment around in, plus dd3 of course)

Thomcat · 17/07/2006 22:19

Damn you and your memory moondog
Lovin it now though.

Xena · 17/07/2006 22:20

how big in no 2 thomcat? and when did you swop them to the back seat?

Thomcat · 17/07/2006 22:27

DD2 is now 7 months. Been using 2nd seat for the last month at least. Before then we raised her up a bit with blankets or used the undercarraige seat and DD1 (4yrs) liked sitting there and dd2 sat upfront.

hunkermunker · 17/07/2006 22:31

DS2 liked it underneath in the P&T, I think, TC - remember his big brown eyes looking up at us?! ROFL!

Xena · 17/07/2006 22:33

When we had dd1 and 2 in it was perfect, but DS2 legs are too long and he 'kicks' dd2's feet she squashs his feet in return
