But this is the one that dd really wants when she starts school. Does anyone know where I can get it for less?

that's foul

Twiglett · 11/07/2006 12:09

sorry, but it's horrible

pecka · 11/07/2006 12:11

ahhhhhhh bless, no need to call it horrible!! I bet any horse mad girl would love it

Can she not be persuaded to go for different horse lunch box. There must be a few about that are a bit cheaper?

Beauregard · 11/07/2006 12:12

Sorry no but from what i have seen when i googled that is the average asking price for any horse type lunch bag!

poisson · 11/07/2006 12:29

lol
god finbars dd woudl LOVE that

FrannyandZooey · 11/07/2006 12:40

I agree it is a lot but looks like you may have to stump up if you really want her to have the one she likes. Could you get her to agree to all sorts of extraordinarily good behaviour, extra chores etc if you get it for her? (might as well get your money's worth )

Twiglett · 11/07/2006 12:52

or ... you could teach her to like 'nice' things

FrannyandZooey · 11/07/2006 12:54

the rudeness of you Miss Twiglett!

Twiglett · 11/07/2006 12:57

I am rude

the horror of that horse thing has brough it out in me

FrannyandZooey · 11/07/2006 13:01

Twiglett if you think that is truly bad taste you have led a sheltered life. Don't try walking down an Essex High St in summer or anything, will you, or I think you might have an attack of the vapours

oliveoil · 11/07/2006 13:03

oh come on

if she is starting school she deserves something lovely

I got dd1 one from Asda for £5 when she eventually decided to stay for lunch at playgroup but I would have bought whatever she wanted as it was a big day for her (and me, sniff)

Scummy · 11/07/2006 13:06

Agree with oo. If £10 won't break the bank then get it.

southeastastra · 11/07/2006 13:44

it's sweet, the plastic ones always break quickly!

flack · 12/07/2006 18:51

Out of curiousity, what sort of lunchbox does your child have, Twiglett?

I will pay the £10 if I have to, just would be happy to pay less, too.

lunch tins last the whole year and you can get the bits out the sides unlike those plasticcy ones.

Ellaroo · 12/07/2006 19:07

Something about the phrasing of Pelvicfloornomore's reply has had me in tears laughing hysterically.

charliecat · 12/07/2006 19:09

buy it now for pennys cheaper

katzg · 12/07/2006 19:13

would this wirk?
horse bag

marthamoo · 12/07/2006 19:21

This place has some fantastic ones I've not seen anywhere else. I can't get a direct link - put lunch in the search box.
But I've just bought this one for ds2's first day of school
