Do you mean that you want to put your child in a travel cot instead of a playpen because your old playpen is broken? Sorry, I'm being really thick tonight and not sure what you mean!

biglips · 08/07/2006 19:38

yes...

Not sure this helps, but my dd is 20 months, weighs about 25 lbs and still sleeps in her travel cot at least once a week for her naps. What sort of travel cot is it? Do you still have the instructions? There is usually a weight guidance thing.

biglips · 08/07/2006 19:50

the one that my DD had got is a old fashioned playpen as it got a hardboard on the floor bit and its a big playpen

but the travel cot - will it hold my DD weight as she is a heavy tall girl

What sort is it? Do a search on Google and see if you can find a weight guidance for it.

Does she stay in it for long? or just while you unload shopping etc.

biglips · 08/07/2006 21:51

there is no label on it as i bought it second -hand and she does stay in it too whilst im washing the dishes etc

Reinforced fabric iirc over which you lay the padded "mattress"
