Cheap stroller??

I am bringing my 2yr 1 month old to UK on holiday and want to buy a cheap stroller to keep there. I want to spend around 30 pounds. Any recommendations??
Saw a fold up 3 wheeler on Mothercare site, on special offer, anyone have it?? Think it was more expensive, around 50 pounds.
Thanks!

cheap strollers are not worth the money. might as well set fire to a twenty pound note.
depending on how often you come, i would get a strudiesih one so it can take a 2 yr old and shopping. either that, or make ttthe child walk.

the mothercare pink/blue ones are ok. my 3yr old neuice fitrs in hers still and it reclines slightly.

how about getting someone here to buy you a 2nd hand one - for £30 you'll get a Maclaren Volo, or possibly a Triumph or Quest, that'll go on forever.

If you want to buy new, the Mothercare Jive is highly rated by MNers (here ) and is reduced to £30 from £35, but comes in rather unsightly colour schemes and you have to buy the rain thing seperately.

I've got a Chicco Caddy which we're quite pleased with and has proved quite robust so far. I think it cost 50 euros. Don't know whether you can get it in the UK though.

also the wheels on the motehrcare jive wear out SOOOOOO fast....

much better off going for a Maclaren where the wheels last SOOOO much longer!

(my best friend lives literally in the town centre.... and although she has no car does not walk "that" far either....

in the past 18 months she has worn out 2 motehrcare jive buggies... (ie ALL the tyres on the wheels have 'gone')

Her daughter is now 3 and walks.... but as she out it.... "if i ever had another child id get a Maclaren straight away, rather than a mothercare jive that wear out with pretty much every foot step you take!"

as she put* it (not as she out it!!!!)

(also most maclarens do 2 chidlren EASILY!)
