Pull-ups are for toilet-training so they're not as absorbent. Easy-ups are more of a nappy, they're more absorbent so they hold more wee.

there is no such product as pampers pull ups. (you may be thinking of huggies pull ups)

There are pampers easy up pants which are ordinary nappies that are put on like pants.

You also get pampers feel and learn nappies which are for use during potty training - are for coping with accidents rather than a nappy full of pee/poo.

It's the easy-ups you need, just nappies that you pull up and down like pants. They're a lot easier once children start to get wriggly or pull their nappies off. They lasted my dd as night nappies until she was 4, so they're good and absorbent.

thanks everyone... so if my DD is in size 5 nappies, i get the size 5 easy pants?

What does she weigh, and is she tall? We always ended up going for a bigger size so that they came nice and high on dd's waist, otherwise she had leaks.

biglips · 08/07/2006 13:34

she is 33lbs and is tall for her age

I'd go for size 6, to be honest - 35lb+

I found the huggies convertables better than the easy ups.
The easy ups when full tend to fall down if they are wearing skirts or dresses etc. With the huggies they are pull ups but also have a tab that you can tighten them up with.

We didn't have any problems with the Easy-Ups at all; dd used them all the time from about 15 months until she was dry just before 3, and used them at nighttime until she was 4 (she's a heavy wetter overnight). I guess it depends on the size and shape of your child (although dd is a skinny-minnie, so I wonder why they didn't fall off her, too!).

Go for small packs to start with, biglips, and see how you get on with each one.
