expat, thats exactly how i felt. i went about with weirdy hair for ages cos i had been duped into buying it in the salon.

LadyTamba · 04/07/2006 20:56

John frieda brillient brunette

I use the Aussie 3 minute miracle conditioner every couple of days too (instead of the John Frieda one)

That John Frieda Brilliant Brunette stuff is fantastic...but I hate the tubes, I find them really difficult to open and have to use a damp flannel (I have really wimpy hands and wrists). Wish he'd put it in a bottle (haha, like John Frieda himself is mixing it up and putting it in tubes...)

am a 'whatever's on special offer' girl too - currently on Garnier Fructis for Long Hair which is rather good - but like the Boots 'intensive henna and horsechestnut conditioner' because it comes in a big bucket and lasts ages.

In a little lab in his shed, moo ?

Lemmingswife · 05/07/2006 16:17

I use Paul Mitchell super skinny shampoo, as it is meant to reduce drying time & my hair is very thick, so takes forever to dry!
I always walk out of the hairdressers with some product or another, thinking it will work the miracles that they promise...should have learnt by now!
I have the Bed Head peppermint hair mask. Not sure it has done much to my hair other than make it smell of peppermint, but my head doesn't resemble a bed yet!

As an aside - why do 'top' hairstylists always have such bad hair (or no hair, like Trevor Sorbie)? Who was that one who was always on Richard and Judy (Richard called him Hairdryer of the Year) with the big Farrah Fawcett flick?

NomDePlume · 05/07/2006 21:37

Oh god, I know the one you mean.... . I liked his range of hair products, chic brushed silver packaging too.

NomDePlume · 05/07/2006 21:41

Ah HA ! It's Nicky Clarke. He has now changed the packaging of his stuff to a garish and cheap looking bright orangey red. Naffola
