This 'toy' jeep type thing...

Ignoring the price tag for a minute (you must ignore it or it will cloud your judgement...pretend it costs £90 or something), do you think this has masses of play value and will be enjoyed immensely for a long time...or will it be a faddy fleeting interest which will be ignored after a few weeks

What do you think though about how 'entertaining' it will prove to be in the long term?

dt2 has a electric baby quad bike which was only £40. He is 14 months and has lost interest in it now. He lvoed it for about 2 months! I wouldn't risk that much money on one.

I think he will love it, and it will last for ages

My gut feel is that my two should enjoy it. I'll look at the cheaper ones from Toy R Us first - thanks WB. (Kelly - perhaps your ds was almost too young to get much out of it, whereas slightly older children can let their imaginations run with it a bit? - i.e. pretend to be dad driving to work, or on safari or something like that? - do you think that could be it?)

actualyl come to think of it, ds is nearly 4, and he loved it too to start with, even tho the age limit is 3 and I tried to stop him from going on it. He isn't bothered neither now. Still, it isn't as exciting as that jeep.

Oh and ds has asd traits ad no imagination.
