ghosty · 03/06/2006 11:38

You SUCK them Shock?

Ummmmmmm ..... and what do they DO exactly? Are they sweets?

ghosty · 03/06/2006 11:39

They suck them? Who's 'they'? Children? Are they lollipops?

hub2dee · 03/06/2006 11:41

eveloped in 1925 by a leading paediatrician - Dr. Harry Campbell - to provide the correct exercise considered vital to the development of a baby's teeth and jaws and chewing skills - with the added bonus of easing the pain of teething!!
There is still nothing to beat the original BICKIEPEG, made today as it was then from only the finest ingredients.

NO added sugar, sweetner, artificial colourings or flavourings.

Bickiepegs are kosher and are suitable for both vegetarians and vegans. Recommended use from age 6mths.

DW has just told me the instructions say they can only suck them for 20 mins at a time and you then need to throw the bickiepeg biscuit thingy away. That sucks (haha).

Thanks Hub ... am off to tell the world ...

Did you know that no one in NZ has ever heard of paper maternity knickers? Shock

hub2dee · 03/06/2006 11:52

I hope you wear them all the time so that people in changing rooms etc get educated.

Nemo1977 · 03/06/2006 11:58

never heard of them either and I have a 2yr old and a 5mth old.

ghosty · 03/06/2006 11:58

Grin I told a friend of mine about them recently and she pissed herself ... she said they sounded kinky - along the same lines as edible knickers!
As I recall there is nothing kinky WHATSOEVER about paper knickers Grin

lanismum · 03/06/2006 12:01

they always remind me of bonios, erm, bickiepegs, not paper knickers Grin

zippitippitoes · 03/06/2006 12:01

You mean you've never known the joy of finding a half sucked/gnawed bickiepeg down the side of the sofa?? Smile

brimfull · 03/06/2006 22:52

My dd sucked these all the time when she was teething, remember the soggy thing pinned to her top .

LadyCodofCOdford · 03/06/2006 22:53

oh god give it a rich tea fgs

WigWamBam · 03/06/2006 22:55

I remember my mum giving my little sister Bickiepegs 26 years ago, attaching them to her clothes with a little pink ribbon ... I also remember having to clean the gooey, sticky mess up once my sister had dropped lumps of the damned things everywhere!
