Table or play centre advice

My dd is standing up now and is preoccupied with grabbing hold of the sofas but is finding it a bit boring. Should I buy a table she can stand at or one of the activity centres? Anyone got something thier dd can stand at that they seem to enjoy?

IMO activity centres take up too much space, and baby soon wants to escape any confines.

play tables take up less space; \link{http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000062XQ8/203-1599758-8543909\this leapfrog one} was always popular with DS1 and not too enormous.

Line up some toys/bricks/books on the sofa :)

DS had the Leapfrog one, but he wasnt particularly interested in it at this stage. He did enjoy it later though, I suppose it might also depend on their age. Its a shame you didnt ask sooner though as Ive just given it away.

They did have the fisher price one half price in woolworths. Think it was about £12.99.
