I think that we want to paint it an off-white/cream colour (boring I know), but all the neutrals colours seem to look the same on the paintcard. Any thoughts please?
Dulux's Jasmine White looks good from the test pot, but I'm undecided.

Bright orange! Make it nice and sunny!

chonky · 30/04/2006 17:44

Have had orange kitchen before, it was fab, but I need to paint the dining area the same colour, and it might look a bit too much maybe?

Ours is similar to \link{http://www.dulux.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/DuluxPopularColoursCmd?storeId=10752&catalogId=10051&langId=-1&hueId=Green&menuNumber=5\wellbeing} in the first column.

My bathroom is jasmine white, and all my ceilings too. I think that it is much warmer than plain white, and I am really happy with it, but I like colour in the kitchen. Do you have coloured tiles or cupboards?

cece · 30/04/2006 18:04

My last house had an orange kitchen with cream shaker cupboards - it was lovely!

chonky · 30/04/2006 18:22

WE're having cream shaker units, and cream tiles. It'd be good to add some colour, I'm just not sure about committing to coloured tiles IYSWIM. Much easier to re-paint a wall if we get it wrong!

That wellbeing colour is lovely. Thanks for all your ideas, keep them coming please.

Have you got any accessories that you really like the colour of because if you find an object and go with a scheme it might be easier - you can just get the colour of the 'mug' for eg copied in large DIY stores. It's only paint so you can change it easily when you get bored.

PinkKerPlink · 30/04/2006 18:31

pink

chonky · 30/04/2006 18:34

lol pinkerplink (sorry, don't do capitals)

bubblerock, I wish I had accessories, more like collection of junk. I love blue as a colour, but really trying to wean myself off.
