Does anyone want...

I have these things to give away if anyone wants them (for postage costs only):

Grobag - pink and white check, age 6-18 months, 2.5 tog

2 x fitted terry cot sheets - mothercare, cream, one used one, one never used - but unwrapped and not in bag

Portable booster highchair seat - mothercare, plastic, uses a 5 point harness (not included), fastens round most dining chairs; similar to this but different colours I think.

May have some bits of clothes too but not been through it yet. Most clothes have already gone but found a bag when tidying the other day.

I will try and work out rough postage prices tomorrow too.

This was posted elsewhere too but the thread title wasn't very clear.

pie - a tip - always turn on the parent control first then the baby one....sometimes ours doesnt work the other way round...unsure why!

pie · 16/01/2004 11:20

Ha, I'm having great fun listening to DH snoring in the bedroom, I think I might swap them round then start growling, see how long it takes to scare him witless.

Thanks agin Hulababy, and thanks for the tip popsie

Hulababy · 16/01/2004 11:20

Yes - good idea Popsycal. We always left DD's on in her room but turned the parent one off each morning. Every so often it doesn't pick up the monitor when you turn the parent one back on. Turning them both off and then, as Popsycal says, turn the parent one on first, then the baby one.

Oh, and make sure they are both on the same channel!

there is also an alarm for if the room temperature is above 22 degrees (cot death risk thing)
it can be disabled.....

Beccarollover · 16/01/2004 11:59

I think we should keep this thread going for anyone with anything to give away..

Does anyone want a belted cardigan from George at Asda for age 4-5 that my daughter refuses to wear! Its never been worn at all.

Hulababy · 16/01/2004 12:08

I never knew about the alarm - may be disabled Pie. In the summer DD's room never fell below 28 degrees, even with windows open and a fan going all night.

Early Stages stagecoach uniform (age 4/5): Fleece, two tee shirts and two pairs of leggings??? Any use to anyone?

Popsycle, don't forget to email me your address.

Oooh, I could really get into this!

popsycal · 16/01/2004 12:13

you can enable it again...tells you how in the instructions

Carla · 16/01/2004 12:17

Emmmmm.... enable what?? (Dim smiley)

pie · 16/01/2004 12:19

enable the temperature alarm.

I'll have a look for that thanks.

popsycal · 16/01/2004 12:19

sorry carla - was talking to pie about enable
have just emailed you btw!

Carla · 16/01/2004 12:25

Perhaps we should have a separate "Lost and up for grabs" subject? Or am I getting totally carried away ....

Mum2Ela · 16/01/2004 20:19

Hulababy - the booster highchair came today whilst I was at work. Thankyou ever so much! I have been playing with it, I like having new things to play with!

I will put the cheque in the post for you tomorrow.

Thanks again. x x

charliecat · 16/01/2004 20:37

Cheques in the post to the right address!!!

Hulababy · 17/01/2004 08:43

Glad it made it there okay Mum2Ela. It only just fit in that box. Have you figured out how it all fits together and onto the chair?

When we moved we got the wrong type of chairs for it - non standard dining chairs completely. Also DD has a Tripp Trapp highchair and is able to sit right up at the table with us anyway.

Thankyou charliecat. Will look out for it.

Hulababy - yes we figured it out ok.

In fact, it has become DD's favourite toy! She likes to try to put it together and then sit on it (on the floor)and then we put the tray on, and she sits there giggling! I should have got her one for Christmas, she has played with it more than she has played with her Christmas toys!

Did you get the cheque ok?

x

Hulababy · 21/01/2004 08:51

Yes I did thank you Mum2Ela. Dh will pay it (and the others) in this weekend. I am glad your DD likes it.

Been sorting DD's stuff out again and found 2 more items which need good homes (for nothing other than postage costs):

  1. ELC Buggy Driver . Ours is different colours to this one as it is last year's. Cost £20 new.

  2. Tomy Winnie the Pooh Lullaby Dream Show Fits onto side of cot. Cot somewhere between £20 and £30 - not sure exactly as present. Warning to adults: don't use if you have had a drink!!! You'll think you are tripping

They both weigh just under 1 kilo (might be lighter if removed batteries). Both look as new but I dn't have boxes for them. Will get a post box to put them in though.

Reckon it would cost around £4-£5 to post either of them within UK.

Thought I'd bump this up as more people will be starting to log on in the evening.

Jzee · 30/01/2004 18:14

Hulababy,

I would be interested in both of the items. How much do you want for them?

Angeliz · 30/01/2004 18:47

harman, i'll have a look tomorrow, i should have but recently gave lots of stuff away to a pregnant friend, (who then had a boy but passed on stuff to her friend). I will be going through stuff tomorrow to find a ring for her so if i have any i'll put them aside

Hulababy · 30/01/2004 18:51

Jzee - just whatever it costs me to post them out to you.

Harman - wish I had known last week. Just given a whole bag of 12-18 month girls clothes away!

Hulababy, been trying to find this thread... losing the plot here. Anyhow, how can I arrange to get these from you?
