Quinny Buzz or Silver Cross Sleepover?

Does anyone have either of the above and how would you rate them? The Quinnt Buzz seems quite heavy but seems to fold quite compactly/easily. With the Silver Cross one I wouldnt need a seperate carry cot as the pushchair coverts to a cot and comes with a stand for nighttime sleep.

Any view/tips would be appreciated

I dont have either but would have loved the silver cross one - it is classic and practical.

I don't have or need eith but would definately go for the buzz. Have tried it out loads in the shops due to my buggy obcession and love it.

Of these two, definately the Silver Cross.

The Quinny Buzz is a pile of old tat I'm afraid. One of the most unreliable products we have ever sold.

I don't know the Silver cross one but I'm not sure I'd buy the quinny if I had my time again.

Good Points - it looks good and attracts comments for being stylish Grin, the maxicosi cabrio clips on really quickly, it faces both ways.

Bad points: build quality isn't great (screws always coming loose - my friend has the same problem with hers). We get LOADS of punctures (but that could be true of other tyres as well), the bag on the bottom gets filthy in winter, it's too wide to go through some doors,

It's wide when folded up and you end up getting the dirty wheels all over your clothes when trying to get it into the boot. It springs open when you pick it up.

Grrrr I could go on forever

Have had both a Silver Cross (predecessor to the one shown but a 3 in 1 with carrycot) and a Quinny in the past and used both for dd. SC looked great even after 2 kids' use. Build quality and suspension was better on the SC and have misgivings about the little front wheel on the Buzz for comfort for a newborn and stability on uneven surfaces. Found that the Quinny became less stable on rough ground as dd got older, and she is small for her age, had a few problems with the brakes but otherwise a sound pushchair.

Silver Cross = quality that lasts 4 ever!

Got the Buzz because it was one of the few that we could get a carrycot with (which we used instead of a moses basket for overnight sleeping). Car seat fitted chasis. Wanted it for going down a very rough concrete farm drive, which we have done daily for 9 months now, first with thw carrycot, then the carseat and now with the pushchair bit that will face forward or backwards. I agree that the brakes aren't very good until you get the knack and we've had a couple of punctures (but that's hawthorn hedges for you!). It also does have a habit of springing open if you don't wrap the strap around it and I ended up buying a zapp as well for putting in the car boot, as the buzz took up a lot of room and made shopping a nightmare. I did get envious glances from a bloke once, though, as he struggled to put up his child's pushchair while mine sprung up with the lightest of touches!

We haven't had problems with bolts coming loose and I took the bag off when the weather got bad. And although it does fold flat, you have to prop it against something as it is still quite wide. We've been happy with it.

Went to see both of them at the glasgow pram centre and tbh they both looked awfully bulky - especially the buzz with its ginormous back wheels.

I have now seen another travel system thingy that I quite liked - The chicco CT 0.1.
It has a car seat with in-car base and a carry and looked a lot more compact than the other two I looked at.
