i dont use it

hunkermunker · 11/04/2006 15:43

Loose SOO messy. Watch with interest as need a new one.

(Don't say loose) Grin

oliveoil · 11/04/2006 15:44

No I don't use it but my face looks a tad shiny so I thought I would put out a vote.

Loose is fine for home use only but will come open and fill handbag.
I have expensive Clinique loose on dressing table and cheapo pressed Boots 17 in bag (tend to drop and shatter them so not worth shelling out)

if am honest I find tissue better for dabbing off shine - if I powder it just builds up layers and layers of oily powder, face still gets shiny and powder puff gets manky.

Besides, isn't 'dewy' in for spring?

Piffle · 11/04/2006 16:02

If you want a mattifier -- Benefit do Dr Feelgood it is ACE over foundation to set, it far less trouble than powder...

thewomanwhothoughtshewasahat · 11/04/2006 16:04

clinique stay matte pressed - totally fab.

AllieBongo · 11/04/2006 16:04

one step face base from Virgin Vie.. gives dewy effect but takes away shine. i used to sell milions of them

Another vote for the Benefit Dr.Feelgood mattifier - it's like a balm which you just pat on.

thewomanwhothoughtshewasahat · 11/04/2006 16:22

she's not the Boden lady. she's my grandma Grin

I have just finished the Bobbi Brown (loose) and it was fab but pricey.

Has anyone tried the T LeClerc stuff that always gets rave reviews in women's mag? Otherwise I too am watching this thread with interest

I've tried Dr Feelgood, but I am not sure I am using it right as I didnt like it - do you put it on after you've applied your makeup?

Don't you find all your foundation comes off on the sponge?

I just use MAC Studiofix which is halfway between a powder and a foundation - it is excellent, but should I use Dr Feelgood before or after I apply the MAC?

Please let me know what I am doing wrong!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 12/04/2006 11:47

I rather did actually OO - its nice to have an excuse to be offensive and not actually offend someone. BlushGrin
