Mountain Urban Double or Phil & Ted's

hi, im new round here, and hoping you experienced mums can give me some advice Smile

We have just bought a Phil & Ted and i think i made the wrong choice! Steered brilliantly in the shop, but in the streets the pavements often slants and you need to correct it by putting more pressure to one side (i hope that makes sense). Also the shopping capacity is terrille ,in newborn mode my son blocks the basket, and anything in it, presses into him. On the MB you have two baskets and could also tie things to the handles

WE have an opportunity to get a double MB for about £350 (can get it from overseas easily). Should i sell my P&T for the MB?

I liked the P&T because less bulky than MB. Also had visions when toddler (she is 2yrs 3 mo) is walking more, i wouldnt need to decide if to take the double or single, as will always have a double if she tires.

I know it's not exactly what you are asking, but have the Mountain Buggy single, and when the pavement/terrain slopes I correct it by putting pressure on one side of the handlebar - but that is just physics and you will have to do that whether you have the Phil and Teds or the Mountain Buggy. In fact, in terms of physics, my initial reaction is that you would have to put more pressure on with a side by side buggy than the Phil and Teds.

I love my Mountain Buggy as it serves my needs, but from your further comments sounds like you would be best off sticking with P&T.

HTH Smile

You can buy panniers for added carrying capacity in the P&T.
