OMG! For those of you with long, thick hair that takes ages to dry...

My trusty old hairdryer finally died the other day when I dropped it on the ground. Went to get a new one but was late and everything but Toni and Guy was shut. Went in there and they sold them but were £45 Shock

Was desperate so bought it

and OH MY GOD

It has dried my hair in a THIRD of the time. Literally. And it is so much straighter and sleeker! My old one was quite old but was pretty powerful, but this in is another league

Worth every penny

What's the wattage ?

Skribble · 22/03/2006 17:15

Have to admit I did notice the difference when I got a decent semi professional hairdryer, I had been using a rubbish small one that I thought was OK. What a difference.

CountessDracula · 22/03/2006 17:15

It is the one they use in the salons (well in my one anyway)

That'll last you ages - they only use hardwearing dryers in salons. Years ago I bought one from a hairdresser and it went on forever.

spacedonkey · 22/03/2006 17:27

ooh top tip, thanks CD, my hair takes all day to dry if left to dry naturally. And my current hairdryer makes it look like straw (although that might be the tresemme ...)

CountessDracula · 22/03/2006 17:28

mine looks like I have staightened it!
