You know the sort of thing, the ones that you have instead of those brass numbers on your door. Where can I buy them ?

do you mean the glass that goes above the door or and actual plaque?
Dh did the etched glass above our old door with glass etching spray.

It'll have to be a plaque, as we don't have a fan-light above the new door Smile

come on people ?

\link{http://www.abodeplaques.co.uk/products/style03.html\Found this which is just about perfect, but would like a proper glass one (this is acrylic) and preferably a bit bigger/chunkier.}

How about \link{http://www.philipbradburyglass.co.uk/door%20panels.htm\these people} (scroll down to the bottom and they imply they can do all sorts of things)?
Not sure if \link{http://www.great-glass.co.uk/index.htm\this site} might have some names?

It seems to be really difficult to find glass ones. Some more nice acrylic ones \link{http://www.de-signage.com/plaque%20index.php\here}.

\link{http://www.big-studio.co.uk/\These people} look good, but probably expensive!

NomDePlume · 21/03/2006 14:14

Thanks Jackie. Those ones in your second post look very similar to the ones I've found, it looks like that might be the best available without having something commissioned at huge cost (could spend around £100 but suspect that a commissioned piece would far exceed that!)

You could have vinyl manifestations rather than sand-blasting on glass, which would create a very similar effect.

Really want the real deal or as close to it as we can get (sandblasted acrylic), tbh.
